Compress to a size
Compress a PDF to 20 MB
Drop in a report or scanned document and get it back at 20 MB or less.
What actually makes a PDF large
Most oversized PDFs are large because of the images inside them — scanned pages, site photographs or high-resolution plans. Text and vector drawings take up very little space.
We analyse the document, work out where the weight really is, and reduce those elements first so that text stays crisp and readable.
20 MB is the sensible default
For everyday sharing, 20 MB fits comfortably in most inboxes and portals while keeping excellent quality. If you need to go smaller, 10 MB and 5 MB are available and we'll warn you when quality may be affected.
One file in, one file out
Document.pdf comes back as Document-compressed.pdf. We never divide a document into several files, and the original filename is always kept alongside any AI title.
What you never have to choose
Bitrate, codec, DPI, resolution, sample rate or image quality percentage. You pick a size; we do the rest.
